• Noem has defended South Dakota’ near-total abortion ban and opposes exceptions, and has even said a 10-year-old rape victim should be forced to carry her pregnancy to term.

• Noem — who infamously wrote about killing her puppy — has repeatedly put the NRA over community safety and opposed common sense gun reform.

• Noem voted to repeal the Affordable Care Act, which would kick millions off their health care and gut protections for people with pre-existing conditions.
